What Does this USG Test Result Mean?

Dr as per me USG report it s mentioned Presentation : vertex Lie: oblique What does this mean and is it normal? As per LMP I am 37.3 weeks And as per gestation I am 39.1 weeks What is correct Which one to follow LMP or Gestation period? Please reply

Hello,

Vertex lie means your baby has been positioning by heading down, facing to the vagina. This is normal for your pregnancy age as this position should be placed to give birth vaginally.

Usually, implantation occurs 2 weeks after LMP. In other words, gestational age is the time when the fetus was formed, i.e number weeks when the baby was in the uterus.

The age determined by the USG is an estimate, so your true age is between the mean of 37 and 39 weeks. Already in time to give birth.
